The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. I hope to capture, through the lens of a camera, glimpses of my sometimes mundane but glorious little world. I will attempt to post one snapshot each day to share with you. Enjoy!

This is a new addition to our little cove.  I love the red furling sail cover up front.

Since we had company for the week I splurged and purchased some special snack foods.  Fritos.  Love 'em, hate 'em.  This particular package seemed to be send out some love though....

At last!!!  After broken down trains, lost connections, missed flights, a couple mild meltdowns in various German train stations and then again in the Schiphol airport, a hotel room with a private bathroom (ahhh, luxury!) a 14 hour flight across the pond and (finally!) a 2 hour drive home..... that Girl, Jordan, is finally back home with the family.  So good to have all of them under one room for the night!

Just watching let along participating in water polo practice is tiring!  Just kidding.  Zach has to get up early for Cross Country running practice in the morning while Nate gets to sleep in because Water Polo is in the afternoon.  Sam is amused with the whole running around act I have to do to get them to their practices.

We decided to head over the bridges to Tacoma to visit some of the many awesome museums available.  The guys decided they needed to explore the Auto Museum while Grandma and I strolled through and around  the Glass Museum.  This is one of the larger colored glass structures we saw on display on the outdoor walkway.  The lopsided, silver conical building in the background is the hot, fire room where they have artist creating gorgeous glass pieces inside.

Sam and I made a special Anniversary dessert for Grandma and Grandpa Cutter.  They arrived here in the Pacific Northwest just in time to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a fresh bowl of homemade blackberry swirl ice cream.  Happy Anniversary!  We're happy to have you with us for the week.
