The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. Every time I walk or run the Lanikai Loop (about 3 times per week) I see these fishing poles.  I've rarely seen people tending to them and I've never laid eyes on a fish hanging from a hook.  I wonder if it's for sport, relaxation or just an excuse to hang out at the beach all day?  I just hope it's not for a livelihood.
