The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. After spending a couple of hours standing at my kitchen island making up a 10 dozen batch of the boys' favorite meatballs (just to put in the freezer for future use), I decided I needed to whip up a scrumptious, crunchy treat.  And since I went to all the trouble to make that beautiful biscotti, I decided I needed to splurge on a second cup of coffee for the afternoon.  Aaaaahhhh.... no apples today!
