The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. I love Mackelmore.... he made thrift store shopping cool.  Today, while Dave and I were browsing one of the Tacoma Goodwill stores, we chanced upon a barely used Jack Lalanne Super Juicer.  Upon returning home we immediately tried it out on the remaining 1/2 bushel of apples I had picked earlier in the week.  WOW!  This is fantastic apple cider!  I think I'll be doing some serious apple harvesting for the next couple of weeks.  We'll be brewing up some of the regular stuff, but guess at what else we're going to try our hand?!?!
