The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. I hope to capture, through the lens of a camera, glimpses of my sometimes mundane but glorious little world. I will attempt to post one snapshot each day to share with you. Enjoy!

Special Projects Patrol Squadron 2 (VPU-2) had their Change of Command Ceremony this morning.  This ceremony is an honored product of the rich heritage of naval tradition.  Custom has established that it be formal and impressive; designed to strengthen the respect for authority.  The heart of the ceremony is the formal reading of official orders by the relieving officer and the officer to be relieved. The passing of authority from one fine officer to yet another reflects the dedication of free men and women serving their nation proudly.
