The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. I know, I know, yesterday's post was of a picture of food as well and our weather is gorgeous today (our Winter is over) AND I got out on the water this afternoon to exercise and take pictures.... but..... I've been thinking about this dessert all day!  It was Zach's birthday cake from last night and more than scrumptious (as I predicted yesterday).... It was a mouth watering morsel of heavenly goodness, especially with a scoop of ice cream on top!  One more piece for everyone tonight and then it's gone.  I'll have to save this for special occasions only or it might lose it wondrous appeal.  No.... doubt it.

    Oh that looks dangerously good... can I have the recipe please? We got a birthday coming up next Thursday for my 10 year old and that cake looks wonderful!
