The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. I hope to capture, through the lens of a camera, glimpses of my sometimes mundane but glorious little world. I will attempt to post one snapshot each day to share with you. Enjoy!

It's been an Eagle Scout kind of weekend.  Today we had Zach's Eagle Scout project of revamping the sail locker and storage area.   Besides moving all the sails to the new, larger locker space, Zach was responsible for designing and building a life jacket peg rack (to hold 18 vests) and a heavy duty rope spool rack.  Here Nate is using the chop saw to cut the metal pipes that will hold one of the dozen 70 pound rope spools.   Look at those sparks fly!  Zach's not cutting because his job for this project was to direct, advise and supervise the other scouts.   It was a long day at the marina, but a satisfying one.  Another fantastic job!
