This is the mysterious breadfruit. I say mysterious only because I can't find any decent recipes using it.... or at least anything I'm interested or willing to try. I have sampled it in raw form and that was just wrong. The locals I've spoken to at our weekly Farmer's Market say it tastes great when cooked right. What does that mean?!?! And, really.... you think poi is a mouth watering delicacy! I think this is going to require a little (or a lot) more investigating before I jump on board.
