According to Zach, today is National Turtle Day. He's taking Marine Biology this semester. He's got many facts just like this one which he shares with us every day. Here in Hawaii, the turtle, or honu in Hawaiian, is classified as endangered and is protected by many state laws. Nobody has informed the honu of these laws though, and they keep breaking them by swimming too close to humans!
