The purpose of this page is to challenge me to open my eyes and truly see the world which surrounds me. So often we trudge though our daily routine, too busy or preoccupied to notice the little miracles happening all around us. I hope to capture, through the lens of a camera, glimpses of my sometimes mundane but glorious little world. I will attempt to post one snapshot each day to share with you. Enjoy!

We're road tripping up to Anacortes for the day. When we moved away 5 years ago we left a few thing in storage - a sailboat, a camper, a couple of cars, heavy winter gear, cold weather camping supplies, boat accessories and just general stuff. It's time to retrieve it. We got through the big city of Seattle and decided to make our regular pit stop at the North Everett Interstate 5 rest stop. This red cedar stump is a 'big' attraction at the stop.
